Mizrachi Appearance

A book publication presenting an alternative design concept for Yigal Nizri's original "Mizrachi Appearance" book, first published in 2005.

The new edition includes 8 articles providing insights into the representation of Mizrachi Jews (Jews who migrated to Israel from Arab countries) in contemporary Israeli popular culture.

The design aesthetic is vibrant and playful, seeking to convey the humor, joy, and "love of life" found in the stories. The design language emphasizes the contrast between the richness of Mizrachi culture and its portrayal in modern Israeli cultural contexts.
